10 QUESTIONS TO ASK ON A JOB INTERVIEW

The top 10 questions you should ask on your next job interview

I've always hated the Interview process, no matter how prepared I thought I was somehow the minute I walked into that room I felt unprepared. I've never been great at interviews, the anxiety takes over and at times I forget to "sell" myself. However, one of the issues I had and realized over and over once I left an interview was "I didn't ask enough questions" or "I didn't ask any questions" (which is worse). There it lies the reason why I did so horrible in so many interviews.

I have taken upon myself to bring you TEN-ish questions you should always ask your interviewer. Of course, don't ask all of them as the ideal amount is 4-6 questions (in my opinion) but it is important to have more as some of your questions might get answered throughout the interview.

I have not only brought these questions for you but for myself as well, I have learned that I feel more confident about my interview when I have questions to ask. Questions that can turn into a conversation and make the interview more personal, remember an interview is a two-way street.

I have read a couple of blogs/articles and these are the most common questions;

  1. How likely is it to grow within the company/team?
  2. What qualities would make a candidate successful in this position?
  3. What does a day to day look like in this position?
  4. What are the biggest challenges that someone in this position would face?
  5. Does this role require primarily independent work or collaboration?
  6. How would you describe the company's culture?
  7. Do you offer continuing education and professional training?
  8. How long have you been with the company? The team?
  9. What do you enjoy most about working for this company/team?
  10. Is there anything about my application that concerns you? OR Do you have any reservations about my qualifications?
Don't leave the interview without asking  11. "Have I answered all of your questions?"
